Wait I think I made that up.
Well anyways you have to look past the stains and the smell sometimes to see the creative potential of a fun new outfit. So go on and slip that thing on right over your head in the Goodwill dressing room... let the fabric brush against your face... now check yourself out in the mirror. Most likely you will laugh, but the real test is your imagination. I have acquired the creative skill to look at myself in the mirror wearing some nasty old lady shoulder padded get up and confidently say, "damn, I look good". : )
So here is my first creation.
Here is what I liked about this dress....
I know exactly what you are thinking?.. what's to like?? Give me a chance, ok so I liked the color, I liked the lapel around the neckline and the POCKETS!
So, the last time I used a sewing machine was in 4-H... and no I wasn't one of those dorky kids who was in 4-H until adulthood. So basically, it had been a while since I used one. Anyways, thanks to my lovely friend, Jeff for letting me borrow his sewing machine, and some kid with a lisp on youtube for teaching me how to thread the machine, I now had a fabulous new dress for an evening out with friends.
Check it...
